The Oakwood Hardware Food & Drink 

The Oakwood Hardware opened in 2016 in Oakwood Village – a diverse working class community in Toronto.

 

Anne Sorrenti, head chef and owner of The Oakwood Hardware, has lived in this community for 27 years, during which she raised her family and became an active leader in the community. Anne has given local youth opportunities, supported food security as well as the homeless population in her community. Anne has served on various community boards, has volunteered for Art Starts, Humewood School, as the chef at The Stop Farmer’s Market at Wychwood Barns and currently is vice chair of the Oakwood Village BIA.

Anne has always cared about giving back to others, and has always desired to give back to the community in which she lives. Over the past six years Anne has created a beautiful, warm and welcoming environment providing customers all over Toronto and beyond with the opportunity to create meaningful memories with food and friends.

Anne’s food philosophy is centered around fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. Using these, Anne is constantly creating new and interesting menus, desserts and cocktails. The restaurant has participated in Garlic Fest, Summerlicious, and is always hosting new and fun events such as trivia, live music and Oaktoberfest.
